Wheels for Warmth was established by Phil Scott in 2005, with three goals: Supporting emergency heating assistance, Providing safe, affordable tires, and Rescuing old tires from the waste stream. This is an annual fundraiser that has provided over $450,000 to local home heating programs through the Community Action Agencies in the past 14 years. Come drop off your old tires; the $4 recycling fee you pay goes to support the Warmth program! Drop off at least a pair of goo quality tires, with at least one season left in them, and pay nothing; the tires will be resold to benefit the Warmth program.
