Poker Tournament to raise funds for area elderly at risk Holiday Cheer Gift Bags
Our company does an annual project that puts together Holiday Cheer Bags for at risk elderly clients of NEK Council on Aging in the Hardwick, Greensboro, Stannard, Walden area.
We are sponsoring a poker tournament to raise funds to fill the gift bags. Typically, we fulfill their wish lists and then add in grocery cards, basic necessities, and baked items donated by the local food businesses. We have over 65 bags to fill this year.
Event is Saturday December 3rd and funds are donated to our project. It is held at the American Legion – Post 7 in Hardwick starting at Noon and going until there is a winner.
