Chris Miller, a sculptor working in granite, wood, and marble, was commissioned by the Vermont Academy of Arts & Sciences to create a new monument designed to be the face and presence of the institution. Countless Vermont Granite Museum visitors have had the unique opportunity to witness the time and effort Chris has invested in every step in this process in the institution’s workshop. Tonight, Chris will discuss this project and the exceptional work he has done to complete it thus far.
