A 5K Fun Run will take place on August 14, starting at 11 AM at the Rainbow Banquet Hall in Altona, NY. This is to benefit the Jane’s Fight Fund (Foundation at CVPH). The Walk is in Memory of Jerry Collette.
Brannion began The Jane’s fight fund June 30th 2017 Janes birthday.(Jane was his mother) The Janes fight fund works with the Foundation at CVPH helping cancer patients financially by having fundraisers and distributing the money three times a year to cancer patients.
This will be our second annual 5K fun run charity event . To raise money for the Janes fight fund. To honor the memory of Gerald Collette (Jerry). Who fought cancer. For many years until he passed away on 3/20/21 he fought the strong fight for as long as he could .
Jerry was the inspiration for the first event. And will continue to be the reason for our drive , determination and the dedication to continue this annual fun run we will commemorate Jerry as well as support the Janes fight fund, reminding everyone that there are still people fighting cancer every day it’s a battle that is not won by most.
The Run is on August 14th, 2022, at the Barn Room Rainbow Banquet Hall you can pre register on line or on site the day of the run at 11 AM, the run will begin at 11:30 AM. If you pre-register the cost is $20.00, $25.00 if you resister on site the day of the run . Come early to register and to participate in our Chinese auction and raffle . That will continue at the end of The run.
