Motorcycle Ride for the Homeless - The 1 ½ hour scenic ride will begin at 10:30 AM from Green Mountain Harley-Davidson on Pearl Street in Essex Junction, will travel to St. Albans, down to the Mt. Mansfield and Pleasant Valley areas, and return to the start location by early afternoon. The Ride is to be followed by a Pork BBQ prepared by the award winning Lost Nation Smoke Company, raffles, live music, and is open to the general public. Motorcyclists and guests desiring to participate in the Ride may register in advance by going to BEShelter.org, by obtaining registration forms available at local motorcycle dealerships, or registering the day of the Ride between 8:30 AM and 10 AM. Registration fees are $35 for riders and $20 for passengers and include the Ride, BBQ and an awesome T-Shirt. All the procceeds are going to the Burlignton Emergency Shelter.
